What isn't compared, and why
These came up often enough to be worth explaining. In each case the bakeries sell something under the same name that isn't actually the same thing.
The bakeries
Opening hours, delivery and halal status as each bakery publishes them. Where a bakery publishes nothing, that is shown as not published — it does not mean no.
Only Mother Dough publishes a halal certification. La Levain states it is not certified but uses no pork or lard, and that some items contain alcohol. The other five publish nothing on the subject, so nothing is claimed here on their behalf.
