What "++" adds
Most venues quote "++": 10% service charge, then 9% GST on top. So $1,000++ a table is really S$1,199. We added both to every "++" price, so the ladders compare what you actually pay.
Lunch costs less, or the same
At 11 of the 21 venues, a Saturday lunch is cheaper than a Saturday dinner, by S$54.50 to S$299.75 a table. At the other 10, one price covers lunch and dinner. No venue charges more for lunch.
Weekdays save more
At 14 of the 20 venues with both prices, a Monday-to-Thursday lunch costs less than a Saturday dinner: 4% to 18% less for the cheapest package. Each price is what you pay, with service charge and GST added by us to "++" prices.
Nett or plus-plus
Only 4 venues quote nett prices for their cheapest packages: Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, Qian Xi and Far East Hospitality's Rendezvous Hotel. Serangoon Gardens Country Club's prices include GST and name no service charge. TungLok's "+" prices are before GST, so we added 9%.

What we compared
The price of a Chinese wedding banquet package for one table of 10 guests, from each venue's own wedding package pages and brochures. A package usually includes the set menu, drinks, the venue and a list of perks, and each venue decides what goes in it. We compare the price per table, which is how venues sell it.
A package enters a ladder when its own page says it can be held at that meal: a Saturday dinner, a Saturday lunch, or a Monday-to-Thursday lunch. Where a page names no day or meal (Qian Xi, Royal Plaza on Scotts, Chui Huay Lim), we took it as bookable at every meal. Each venue is ranked at its cheapest package for that meal. Weekday dinners are in the "every venue" table.

We added both to every "++" price (x 1.1, then x 1.09, the way Village Hotels' own brochure turns its "++" prices into nett ones), and tagged it "Plus-plus added by us". Four venues show "++" without spelling it out (Copthorne King's Hotel, M Hotel, Peach Garden, Red House Seafood); we read them the same way. TungLok's prices end in "+" and its terms say they are subject to GST and/or service charge where applicable: we added 9% GST only, so its real price may be up to 10% higher. Nett prices are used as shown.
- A few venues price per guest (Shangri-La Singapore and Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, some plated menus). We multiplied by 10 for a table of 10 and tagged it.
- Where a price line says "per table" without a number of guests, we read it as a table of 10 only where the venue's own pages give 10 guests to a table somewhere (for example a food tasting "for a table of 10 guests", or "10 pax per table"): Amara Hotels, Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine, Millennium Hotels, Peach Garden, TungLok. The "every venue" table quotes each venue's words.
- Minimum numbers differ a lot: from 5 tables for M Hotel's intimate package (at most 8 tables, or 80 guests) to 30 or 35 tables for Grand Copthorne Waterfront's Grand Ballroom. The table's notes give each venue's minimum where its page states one.
- A package is ranked if, on 28 Sep 2026, a couple could still book it for a wedding still to come. Packages with a booking deadline within days of 28 Sep 2026 are shown, not ranked: York Hotel's packages must be booked by 30 Sep 2026, so they are in the table of prices we didn't rank, with their prices. Where a venue publishes a 2026 list and a 2027 list, we used 2026; Serangoon Gardens Country Club publishes only a 2027 Chinese package, so it is ranked and marked "For 2027 weddings". Its prices "include GST" and name no service charge, so they are used as shown. Surcharges for public holidays, their eves and "auspicious dates" are extra and not included.
- Groups count once. Hotels and restaurants run by one company are one business, ranked at their cheapest venue: Millennium Hotels (Orchard Hotel, Grand Copthorne Waterfront, M Hotel, Copthorne King's), Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PARKROYAL on Beach Road and its Si Chuan Dou Hua, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering and Marina Bay, Pan Pacific Singapore and its Hai Tien Lo, Pan Pacific Orchard), Far East Hospitality (Rendezvous, Oasia and Village hotels), Amara Hotels and Shangri-La Group (Shangri-La Singapore, Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa). Hotels that carry an international brand but have their own owners and prices (Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Accor hotels) are each their own business.
- Three venues' prices were read from images on the venue's own site: Qian Xi's 2026 wedding menus (SGD$1198 to SGD$1818 nett), Si Chuan Dou Hua's 2026-2027 packages linked from its wedding page ($1,488++ a table of 10 at PARKROYAL on Beach Road; per-guest plated menus at TOP of UOB Plaza) and Serangoon Gardens Country Club's 2027 Chinese wedding dinner package ($1,288 and $1,388 a table of 10).
- Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium's SG61 Offer is a named, limited-period sale, so its usual price, printed beside the offer (U.P. $1,769 nett, $1,969 nett for a weekend dinner), is ranked and the offer is listed separately. Changi Cove prints two prices under three headings (lunch, weekday dinner, weekend dinner); we read the first as lunch and weekday dinner, as its $1,238++ weekend dinner is the dearer one.
What isn't compared, and why
- Malay, Indian, halal, Western and buffet wedding packages: a different menu, often priced per guest. Orchard Hotel's halal family-style sets ($1,480 a table) are in the table of prices we didn't rank.
- Packages sold as a solemnisation or ROM package, even where the meal is a Chinese set priced per table: Orchid Country Club, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, Amara Sanctuary Sentosa (Amara Hotels). They are in the table of prices we didn't rank, with their prices. M Hotel's intimate package is sold as a wedding package, so it is ranked.
- Drinks upgrades, décor, extra perks and surcharges.
- Guides that list venue prices: they aren't the venue's own page, so we used them only to find names.
Where the list comes from
There is no register of wedding venues, so we built the list from wedding guides and price-list sites (for names and website links only) and searches for each hotel's and restaurant's own wedding page: 150 names found and 142 websites read. 22 businesses publish a comparable price; 60 venues publish no wedding banquet price on the pages we read (including JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach, St. Regis Singapore, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, Mandarin Oriental Singapore, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, Raffles Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa), and 28 sites blocked our reader or would not load: Aloft Singapore Novena, Andaz Singapore, Artyzen Singapore, Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, Conrad Singapore Orchard, Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong, Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, Grand Hyatt Singapore, Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon, Hilton Singapore Orchard, Holiday Inn Express Singapore Novena, Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre, Hotel Fort Canning, Hotel Miramar, JEN Singapore Orchardgateway, JEN Singapore Tanglin, Marina Bay Sands, Marina Mandarin Singapore, Orchid Hotel (Ya Ge), Peninsula Excelsior Hotel, Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant, Pullman Singapore Hill Street, Regent Singapore (Summer Palace), The Hari Singapore, The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, The Singapore EDITION, voco Orchard Singapore.
This is a count of prices, as published or worked out by us where tagged, not a survey of every wedding in Singapore. Every figure here is "among venues that publish prices".
Dates and checks
Every price was read from the venue's own website on 28 Sep 2026, and each figure was matched word for word against our saved copy of the page (prices read from images against the image's or file's address on the saved page, with the image saved). Because every page was read the same day, the usual second read of the highest and lowest prices on publishing day was not needed. Venues were not phoned or messaged: we only use what a venue puts on its own website.
Prices per venue: the middle venue publishes 3 packages that fit each meal, so the chart above has a tab for each meal (88, 90 and 86 prices). The game below (60 rounds) mixes question types from the three ladders.
