What we compared
The price, as published or worked out by us where tagged, of three kinds of laser eye surgery for short-sightedness, for both eyes, with GST: LASIK (bladeless, femto or wavefront), surface laser (PRK, LASEK, Epi-LASIK or TransPRK) and SMILE or SMILE Pro. We chose these after reading every clinic's price list, by counting how many clinics publish each. Implantable contact lenses and the first suitability test are in the big table.
This page compares prices, not medical outcomes. It doesn't say which procedure is better or who is suitable: a doctor decides that after an eye assessment, and the right procedure may not be the cheapest.
Comparable enough, not identical
- Where a clinic quotes per eye, we doubled the price. Where it quotes before GST, we added 9%. Both are tagged on the ladder.
- Where a clinic gives one price for several procedures (Atlas Eye for all its laser procedures; Lang Eye and Asia Pacific Eye Centre for LASIK and Epi-LASIK; Dr Natasha Lim for LASIK and LASEK), that price appears on each ladder it names, tagged "Shared price".
- Where the price depends on the surgeon (SNEC), the lowest tier is ranked and the others are in the small print. SNEC's fees are for Singapore citizens, PRs and work permit holders; others pay a surcharge.
- What's included differs: some prices include reviews, medication or free enhancement surgery; others charge these separately. The small print says what each page lists.
- A "from" price, or the low end of a range, is drawn striped: the price for your eyes can be higher.
What isn't compared, and why
- Cataract surgery, presbyopia treatments (such as PRESBYOND) and cross-linking: different procedures for different needs.
- Consultation and review fees, beyond the first suitability test.
- Clinics that quote only after an assessment, which is most eye specialists.

Where the list comes from
Eye clinics in Singapore are licensed by the Ministry of Health, but MOH doesn't publish a downloadable list of clinics that do laser eye surgery, so there is no official count to measure against. We built our list from guides and listicles (for names and website links only) and search, and read 39 eye clinic websites; 12 publish a usable laser eye surgery price. We stopped when searches returned only clinics we had already read. Three clinics named in guides (Hesed Eye Specialists, ISEC Singapore and Pacific Eye Centre) had no website we could read.
This is a count of prices, as published or worked out by us where tagged, not a survey of every eye clinic in Singapore. Many eye specialists quote only after an assessment. Every figure here is "among clinics that publish prices".
Dates and checks
Every price was read from the clinic's own website on 27 Sep 2026, and each figure was matched word for word against our saved copy of the page. Because every page was read the same day, the usual second read of the highest and lowest prices on publishing day was not needed. Page dates, where a page shows one, are in the small-print table. Clinics were not phoned or messaged: we only use what a clinic puts on its own website.
Prices per clinic: 40 prices from 12 clinics across five services, too few for a price-spread chart beyond the ladders, so the game below (23 rounds) mixes question types from the ladders instead.
