16 clinics with a published, ranked scaling-and-polishing price, out of 32 read. The 32 is our own count from searching across Singapore's neighbourhoods — Jurong, Clementi, Bukit Timah, the CBD, Holland Village, Yishun, Sengkang and the wider heartlands — not an official figure.

Last verified

23 Sep 2026. Every price was read from the clinic's own website on that date and checked against it. The outliers (the lowest and highest, and the highest in the extraction lane) were re-read before publishing. A small number of prices were captured by hand screenshot where a page could not be read automatically, or blocked automated readers outright; each is tagged in the underlying log.

What “comparable enough” means here

We compare prices that are comparable enough for a fair reading, not strictly identical. The standard item is scaling and polishing, one visit, adult, non-subsidised. Where a clinic prices the consultation separately from the clean, we do not add them together for the main ladder — the ladder is scaling and polishing on its own, so that clinics without a published consultation fee (Caring Dental, Q&M, Ashford, Newport, Dr Mike Teoh, TWC) can still be compared. Simple extraction is priced the same way, per tooth.

What isn't compared, and why

• Bundled visit prices that can't be separated. Figs Dental and Smilepoint Dental Centre fold the consultation into one flat fee with no standalone scaling-and-polishing figure. Shown in the small print, not the ladder.
• Prices not published. 10 clinics read had no price anywhere on their own pages: The Dental Studio, B9 Dental Centre, B&F Dental Clinic, Bukit Timah Nam Seng Dental Surgery, The Dental Clinic, Tay Dental Surgery, T32 Dental Group, Smile Dental Group, Heartsland Dental, and a site under Dr Prashanth's name that reads as a general information page rather than a clinic's own price list.
• Out of date, held unranked. TSD Dental Group's own fee schedule states it was revised on 1 October 2022 — more than the two-year threshold for a page with a genuine stated date — so it is not ranked until a current page is found.
• Training-clinic exclusion. NUS Faculty of Dentistry (student-supervised rates are not the standard commercial item).
• No published price found; a direct reply isn't used as a source. The Braces Practice has no scaling-and-polishing price on its own site. The clinic gave a price by WhatsApp when asked directly, but a chat reply isn't a source we rank on — only a business's own published page counts, the same rule applied to every other clinic here.
• Subsidised prices. CHAS, Pioneer Generation and Merdeka Generation rates are not shown; every price here is the non-subsidised rate a walk-in adult would pay.
• An MOH reference, not a clinic ranking. The Ministry of Health's fee benchmark is shown as a band for context. It is never used to tag an individual clinic as above or below fair value.

Where the prices come from

Every price is published by the clinic itself, on its own website. No delivery-app markups, third-party guides, review-site guesses or blog mentions. Each clinic name in the ladders links to the page we read.
