What 10Gbps home broadband really costs per month over the contract at 9 providers, plus mesh wifi plans for bigger homes

10Gbps broadband: what the contract costs per month

Each provider's cheapest 10Gbps home broadband plan, as the average monthly cost over its whole contract: every monthly charge, including cheap first months, plus any one-off fee that isn't waived, divided by the months. Most contracts are 24 months.

Eight things worth knowing before you sign

The 'usual price' is rarely what you pay

M1 shows a usual price of S$135 a month for its 10Gbps plan and sells it on contract for S$26.90. StarHub shows S$121.01 against S$38.90. We rank the contract price.

S$0.80 is not the monthly bill

eight charges S$0.80 for the first month, then S$26.80 a month on its 12-month plan: S$24.63 a month over the contract. WhizComms's S$7.99 first month becomes S$27.16 a month over 24 months.

Check the last six months

ViewQwest's 3-router plan is S$30 a month for 18 months, then its usual S$46 for the last 6: S$34 a month over the contract, not S$30.

Most 10Gbps plans cost about S$30

7 of the 9 providers' cheapest 10Gbps plans cost S$24.63 to S$30.41 a month over the contract. StarHub (S$38.90) and Singtel (from S$39.90) cost more, and include a WiFi 7 router (StarHub's page names a TP-Link HB710, Singtel's a TP-Link HB810, both free).

Faster can cost less

M1's 10Gbps plan-only is S$26.90 a month; its 3Gbps plan is S$29.90 but includes a router. StarHub's 5Gbps plan is S$29.55 against S$38.90 for 10Gbps.

Every 30 days means more than 12 bills a year

SIMBA and GOMO bill S$29.99 every 30 days: about 12.17 bills a year, or S$30.41 a calendar month.

Activation is free at all nine

All 9 providers say the NetLink Trust activation fee (S$61.04 on MyRepublic's and ViewQwest's pages, S$62 on Singtel's) is free for new sign-ups. StarHub's page gives one figure for two free items together, NetLink activation plus installation, worth S$152.72; that is not the S$61.04 activation fee. ViewQwest says it is waived for a limited time only, and its page shows no current end date. A home with no fibre point yet still pays NetLink Trust to install one: S$182.03 for an HDB flat (S$333.54 for landed property), on MyRepublic's own list of fees.

Singtel's page gave two different end dates

Read on 26 Sep 2026, Singtel's plans page said its 50% off ends on Saturday. Read again on 29 Sep 2026, it said the offer ends on Wednesday. We don't know why the dates differ. Its 'from' S$39.90 may have changed since; check its page.

The short version

How much is broadband in Singapore? S$24.63 to S$39.90 a month over the contract for each provider's cheapest 10Gbps plan, across 9 providers.

Broadband in Singapore, from each provider's own page on 26 Sep 2026: the cheapest 10Gbps home broadband plan at 9 providers costs S$24.63 to S$39.90 (from) a month over the contract, middle S$29.99; 10Gbps broadband with mesh wifi S$29 to S$46.26; contracts run 12 or 24 months.

How much is broadband in Singapore?

Averaged over the whole contract, eight's 12-month 10Gbps plan is cheapest at S$24.63 a month (bring your own router), then M1 at S$26.90 on 24 months (router extra) and WhizComms at S$27.16. With a router included, eight's 24-month plan is cheapest at S$26.68, then ViewQwest at S$29 (two routers) and WhizComms at S$29.16.

What's the cheapest broadband in Singapore? eight's Flex 8 at S$0.80 for the first month, then S$26.80: S$24.63 a month over its 12-month contract. Don't compare first-month prices: they can be as little as S$0.80.

Is there broadband with no contract? None of the plan pages we read offers one; the shortest contract there is 12 months (eight, GOMO and WhizComms).

How do broadband promotions compare with the contract price? The 'usual price' next to a promotion is 1.2 to 5.0 times the contract price on the plans here, and isn't what contract customers pay. Compare the contract price, and check whether a discount lasts the whole contract.

This comparison covers 9 providers priced, 31 plans read. Every price comes from the business's own website, read and dated, and the comparison was last verified on 26 Sep 2026. No business pays to be included or to rank.

The ladder at the top lines up every business from cheapest to priciest. Below it are the standout findings, how prices spread out, and the details that matter before you book or buy. We compare prices that are comparable enough, not identical, and “The boring bit” says exactly where we drew the line.

The boring bit

What's in it

Every provider we could find selling home fibre broadband to households in Singapore: Singtel, StarHub, M1, MyRepublic, SIMBA, GOMO, eight, ViewQwest and WhizComms. We read all 9 providers' own broadband pages, 31 plans in all. Figures are among plans the providers publish; bundles with TV or gadgets aren't included.

Comparable enough

Every plan is compared on what its whole contract costs per month: each monthly charge over the minimum contract, using the provider's own terms (cheap first months, discounts that stop after 18 months), plus any one-off fee that isn't waived, divided by the contract's months. Plans billed every 30 days are worked out to a calendar month. Vouchers, gifts and discounts only some customers get (such as GOMO's 15% off for its mobile customers, until 27 Sep 2026) aren't counted. Routers differ a lot, from none to three, and from 2.5Gbps to 10Gbps models; the ladder shows who includes one. We don't test speeds.

What isn't compared, and why

Singtel's plans are 'from' prices on its page and are drawn striped. Singtel's 5Gbps plan for new homes (from S$29.90) is only for new homes. MyRepublic's contract length is on the page of its 2-router plan (24 months); we assume its other HyperSpeed plans use the same term. ViewQwest's fourth listed price (S$34, then S$59) couldn't be tied to one router set from its page text, so it isn't used. None of the plan pages we read sells a plan with no contract.

Where the prices come from

Every price is from the provider's own website, read on 26 Sep 2026 by our own headless browser, which saves a text copy, the page code and a screenshot. eight's prices were read from its page code, which marks which figure is current and which is struck through. Broadband prices and promotions change often: check the provider's page before you sign up.

When we stopped

Singapore's home broadband market is small and well known, so we read every provider rather than a sample. There are no dot plot or histogram: providers publish a median of 3 plans each, too few to chart fairly.
